These two communities worked together to create a new park called Unity Corner thanks to the organizing efforts of Robin Alexander and Joanna Deming. Linda worked with the teens of The Pittsburgh Project and their art teacher Sandy Kessler Kominski to make a mosaic mural in 3 panels. The mosaic was mounted on a beautiful stone and brick wall in the new park. The kids interviewed long-time residents of their neighborhoods to come up with ideas for the images.
